Luke Perry's fiancée broke her silence on the former Beverly Hills 90210 star's shocking death—and had dinner with his ex-wife and son.
Wendy Madison Bauer paid tribute to her longtime love, who died at age 52 on Monday, March 4, 2019, following a massive stroke, in PEOPLE.
"I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support," Bauer said in a statement to the publication.
"The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke's generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time."
She noted, "The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him. I also want to thank his children, family, and friends for their love and support. We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man. He will be dearly missed."
On Friday evening, March 8, Bauer, 44, joined Perry's son Jack, 21, and his mother, the star's ex-wife, Minnie Sharp, at a restaurant near Studio City, California, on Friday evening. Perry and Sharp also raised their daughter Sophie, 18.
Onlookers believed they discussed funeral arrangements for Perry as it's thought that he will soon be laid to rest at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Perry broke up with Sharp in 2003.

Bauer was bedside with Perry's kids and ex-wife when he passed away.
Sophie wrote on Instagram the day after his sudden death, "A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, And in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support."
